Stanley Curtis Aber, age 56, passed away on December 19, 2005. Stanley was born August 18, 1949 in Hayden, Colorado to Curtis and Charlotte (Wilson) Aber. He was a life-long resident of Colorado. He graduated from Widefield High School in 1967 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1969-1971. He later worked as a civil servant. On July 12, 1972 he married Catherine E. Blackhall in Colorado Springs, Colorado and they started a family together. Stanley is survived by his wife, Catherine Aber; two daughters: Candace Lynn (Guy) Chew and Heather Noel Aber; his mother, Charlotte Aber; his sisters: Carla Rae (James) Baker and Laurie Lynn Aber; several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Hwy. 85-87, Fountain. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
