Vincent Alfisi, 61, of Monument, Colorado, passed away June 16, 2005 in an automobile accident. Vincent was born July 16, 1943 in New York City to John Alfisi and Christine (Yaletchko) Alfisi. He and Gloria (Rotondi) Alfisi were married November 23, 1968 in Winchester, Massachusetts. Vincent attended schools in Astoria, Queens and Dumont, New Jersey and graduated with a degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1966. He worked as an electrical engineer for 23 years. He enjoyed and excelled at playing golf, skiing and was an excellent baseball player who considered entering the New York Yankees minor league system before deciding upon a career as an electrical engineer. He is survived by his wife; his daughters: Jennifer Alfisi, of McLean, Virginia and Kathryn Alfisi, of Alexandria, Virginia; his brother, Raymond Alfisi, of Avon, Connecticut; two nephews: Jonathan Alfisi and Steven Alfisi, both of Princeton, New Jersey; a large extended family; and three dogs: Rollo, Tweek, and Greta. His family will remember him as a loving father, a wonderful brother, a kind uncle, and a devoted husband. His absence will be felt deeply by those who knew and loved him and he will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. We hope he is now in a place of peace and happiness.
