William (Bill) Beck, 87, passed away September 23, 2013 at Cheyenne Mountain Care Center-Colorado Springs.

Bill's professional career included 38 years in the broadcasting industry and he had retired after 15 years of industrial product sales with W.W. Grainger, Inc. Bill was an avid bowler and a lover of sports who loved the Broncos and the Air Force Falcons. Bill who was known for his charm, humor and wittiness was the founder and "Chief Forager" of the famous Senior's Lunch Bunch group for widows and widowers. He served in the U.S. Navy and was given an honorable discharge as a medic in 1945.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 42 years, Joyce Lea Beck.
He is survived by his son William Beck of Scottsdale, Arizona and his brother-in-law Richard Couch and sister-in-law Sharon Couch; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Serenity Springs Wildlife Center at P.O. Box 112, Calhan, CO 80808.
A celebration of his life will be held this Sunday on September 29 at 2:00 pm at Swan-Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs. Since Bill was an avid Broncos fan, the family would love to have everyone wear Broncos colors.
