Aj Candido Archuleta V, 17 years of age, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on March 14, 2014.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with officiant Father Mark Zacker. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. with a Rosary at 6 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Home. Burial will follow the Funeral at Evergreen Cemetery.
AJ was born in Colorado Springs on February 27, 1997. He enjoyed motocross, soccer, lacrosse, snowboarding, playing guitar, being with his family, and modifying his Subaru WRX. He was also actively involved in Altar serving at Corpus Christ Catholic Church as an Acolyte. He attended St. Mary's High School and was currently a junior.
AJ was one to always have a smile on his face. He was humble, loving, and sincere. AJ was one to always make others laugh and offer a helping hand when they needed it. He had a passion for living life and enjoyed the little things.
AJ is survived by his mother Valerie Archuleta, his father Joseph Archuleta and his older sister Natasha Archuleta as well as other family and friends.
AJ is preceded in death by his grandmother Mabel Vialpando, and his first dog, Jessie Ann Sierra Archuleta.
The family of AJ Archuleta wishes to thank Swan Law Funeral Home, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, St. Mary's High School Students and Faculty, and all Motocross Riders and their families for their support and love through this hard time.
