Mildred Lynn (McKay) Johnson, cherished sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2014 in her home in Denver, CO, the same city where she was born on December 7th, 1949 to Paulina "Pana" Bailey (Fink) Chichester, and Bud Edmonds. She was the oldest of four girls and was frequently introduced as #1. Lynn lived most of her life in Colorado.

An entrepreneurial spirit led her to start several businesses over her lifetime, including a home daycare, and custom tailoring/fashion design business. Lynn was a very spiritual person who devoted her life to helping and healing others both emotionally and physically. That led her to pursue her final career of spiritual teacher. For over thirty years she practiced and taught around the country.

Lynn was a charismatic storyteller, a voracious reader, and music enthusiast. Lynn's contagious sense of humor; loyalty and ability to maintain deep friendships throughout her life made her a welcome addition to any situation. She had a giving heart, a quick wit, and a brilliant mind. She will be deeply missed.

Lynn is survived by her children & their spouses, Ben & Sallyn Johnson, Anita Banuelos, Bonnie & Drew Stolzmann, her grandchildren; Madeline Johnson, Tristen Johnson, Mario Valdes, and Alice Stolzmann, and her sisters, Judith McKay-Harbert, Yvonne Ramos, and Christine Rousan.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; Dr. Fredrick McKay, DDS. & Honora Bailey McKay, and spouses; Harlan Johnson, and Gary (Moon Hawk) Butler.

There will be a viewing Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 10am-1pm at Blunt Mortuary 2229 W. Colorado Ave., Colorado Springs. Followed by a memorial gathering and pot luck from 2pm-5pm to celebrate Lynn's life at Pikes Peak Metropolitan Community Church 1102 S. 21st St.
