In Loving Memory of Shirley Thetis Jeffries, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on May 19, 2014, of natural causes.

A remembrance service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, May 31st, 2014, at Cheyenne Mountain Care Center at 835 Tenderfoot Hill Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906. Mr. Richard Hamilton Jr., personal representative for Shirley Jeffries, will be officiating. Blunt Mortuary is handling final arrangements.
Shirley was born in Lambert, Oklahoma on December 29, 1921. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she met the love of her life.
Shirley was married to Roy E. Jeffries (Jeff) on September 1st, 1945 at the US Naval Air Station in Miami, Florida; they were married for 46 years.
Shirley worked various jobs, including: Hotel Elevator Girl, FBI fingerprint department analyst during World War II, and in retail sales. Shirley enjoyed being a "black belt" in shopping, and was a true needlepoint artist. Shirley was also sympathetic to animal care organizations.
Shirley is survived by her Son, Mark Jeffries, and by many friends.
Her cherished husband, Roy E. Jeffries, precedes Shirley in death.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Salvation Army at 910 Yuma St.,
Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
