Margaret "Peggy" Tolliver, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1952, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2014.

Peggy was born on July 8, 1927 in Waukegan, Illinois, where she was famous for being known as the smallest baby born.
Peggy worked for many years at Central Colorado Medical Center. This is where she met the love of her life, John Tolliver. They were married in 1991 and spent many wonderful years together.
Peggy was a member of the Manitou Women's Club. In 1995 she became a lifetime member of the Manitou Springs Historical Society. In 1996 Peggy earned recognition as a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Peggy was known for her quick smile and loving nature. Her hugs were the best way to end a visit.
Peggy was preceded in death by her son Jimmy Anthony, her husband, John, her parents Garfield Leaf and the former Charlotte Doolittle. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Lesa) Anthony, Larry Anthony (Lee Ann Hooper), Donnie (Mary) Anthony, 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her sister Charlotte Gissel and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on August 20, 3:00p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home.
