Marjorie B. Hartzler was born on July 21, 1924 and entered into eternal rest at her nursing home on December 30, 2012, at the age of 88, after a short illness. She is preceded in death by her father Fred Lind of Saffordville, Kansas, mother Mary Ledford and father-in-law Oscar of Colorado Springs, brother Chuck Lind and sister-in-law Maxine from Seguin, Texas and sister Betty Hisel and brother-in-law Herb from Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also preceded in death by granddaughter Shelley Hanel of Ft. Collins, Colorado. She is survived by her oldest son Willard Hartzler and his wife Margaret of Richardson, Texas, David Hartzler and his wife Domonique of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Judd Hartzler of Colorado Springs, Colorado. John Hartzler of Las Vegas, Nevada and daughter Danetta of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Grandchildren Mason Hartzler and Wayne Hartzler of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Vanessa Zember and Abby Zember of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Leslie Branin of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and eight great-grandchildren. Marjorie was honorably discharged from the Marines after 6 months of active service during World War II. She loved baseball, fishing, cards, and different varieties of cooking.
