Burton (Burt) Milton Newbart also known as "Terrible Terrible", joined God and his loved ones, Maya, Cookie, Scotty, Kim, Joe and Guy on Saturday, February 16, 2013. Survived by his family, Don, Mark, Jeremy, Carolyn, Donna, Timothy, Adriana, Heather, Ryan, Hayden, and Shannon. In his lifetime, Burt has experienced, seen and accomplished great things. Retired with High Honors from the Air Force after serving 34 years. Burt worked as a short order cook, owned his own business (Sherwood Forrest), worked for the Air Force Academy Golf Course, volunteered for many services, and was a bartender. A long time member of the Elks Lodge 309 and of the Eagles 3260. Burt was a great husband, companion, father, grandfather and friend. His friends were many - some long term, some new - our hearts go out to all of you. A special THANKS to Rose Trapp and Don Henry who went far and beyond to make the last years of a great man's life a little easier and a lot more enjoyable. You were truly sent from Heaven. No words can express the love our family and Burt felt for you both. What wonderful memories you placed in Burt's heart. Father and friend of ours, rest Happy, Happy and know we will meet again.
