Dr. Charon Leigh Brinning White, aged 60 and a 33 year resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away July 21, 2013, after a long illness.
Daughter of the late Dr. Robert James Brinning and Marilyn Hill Brinning, Charon was born and raised in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. She majored in Fine Arts at Tufts University in 1974 and went on to obtain a doctorate degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1978.
Charon married Dr. Winston Sumner White in September of 1978 and moved to Colorado the following year to practice dentistry. Among her many talents and interests, Charon loved to garden, paint, ski, travel and enjoy the outdoors.
She is survived by her mother, Marilyn (Naples, Florida); husband, Winston (Colorado Springs, Colorado); sister, Lynn Brinning Hahn and husband Dr. Robert Hahn (Doss, Texas); brother, David Brinning (Naples, Florida); and three children, Dr. Caitlin White and husband Dr. Emilio Argüello (Denver, Colorado), Robert White (New York, New York) and Mallory White (Denver, Colorado). She is predeceased by her father and her brother, Robert James Brinning, Jr. She will be missed by many.
