Esther Joy Buss, 83, born September 28, 1923, she passed on to be with her Lord on March 23, 2007. She was born to Harv and Estelle (Cain) Lewis in Clyde, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jeannette; granddaughters, Aileen and Julie; and grandson, Ricky. Esther is survived by her husband Paul of 64 years; daughters, Carolyn Hanthorn of Anchorage, Alaska; Christine (Gregory) Domijan of Gulf Breeze, Florida; and son, Lyle Buss of Oregon; grandchildren, Todd, Gary, Debbie, Randy, Tanya, Scott, Melissa, Summer and Patrick; 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Evelyn Walters of Federal Heights, Washington. Esther and Paul were married in Abilene, Kansas on May 19, 1942. She was a Certified Public Accountant for more than 20 years. They had resided in Colorado Springs from 1948-1989 and then relocated to Canon City. Visitation will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 from 4-7:00 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m., Memorial Gardens Chapel, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 320 N. 16th Street, Canon City, Colorado 81212.
