EASTHAMPTON - Adam R. Landry, 33, of Main Street, Easthampton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 22, 2013.
Born July 31, 1979, he was the son of Robert G. Landry and Barbara J. (Lastowski) Landry.
Adam was an Easthampton High School graduate, class of 1997, and a graduate of Architectural Wood Design Of Easthampton.
Throughout his school years he enjoyed playing various sports. Adam was a trivia whiz, particularly sports trivia. He was a devoted Minnesota Vikings and Boston Red Sox fan.
In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, Texas hold em' poker and previously played on a men's softball team. He was a dedicated fan of the band Pearl Jam and attended several of their concerts. Adam's true passion in life was cooking. His creativity amazed both family and friends.
Besides his parents, Adam is survived by the love of his life, his beautiful five year old daughter, Emma Rose Landry and her mother Kimberly Dingman of Easthampton; his sister, Blair Aiello and her husband Mike of Holyoke; and his companion, Heather Kohrhammer of Chicopee. He also leaves behind his aunt, Marie Ansaldo of Hadley; his uncle, Edward Lastowski Jr., and his companion Elaine, of New Hampshire; his uncle, Michael Lastowski and his wife Melinda, of Bondsville; his aunt, Irene Andersen of New Hampshire; his uncle, Frank Lastowski and his wife Trish of Hadley; his uncle, Ron Lastowski and his companion Carol of North Adams; his uncle, Rick Lastowski and his wife Kathie, of Turners Falls; and his uncle, Frank Landry and his wife Cherry, of Texas. He also leaves many cousins and close friends.
He was predeceased by his aunt, Francene Besko of Easthampton.
Calling hours will be Sunday, April 28, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Easthampton.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Adam's memory may be given to a fund for his daughter Emma Rose Landry, c/o Florence Savings Bank, Main Street, Easthampton, MA 01027.
