AMHERST - Julia D. (Warhol) Koloski, 95, of Amherst, formerly of Hadley, passed away Friday at the Arbors at Amherst.
She was born Jan. 19, 1918, in South Deerfield, to the late John and Anna (Kula) Warhol.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Koloski, June 15, 1983.
She was educated in South Deerfield schools, class of 1935.
She was a communicant of Most Holy Redeemer Parish in Hadley.
Julia was a homemaker and stayed home to care for her children.
She enjoyed Bingo, making pierogies for the church, working at the Three-County Fair Ground's food booth, needle stitching and was an avid flower gardener.
Julia is survived by her sons, David and his wife Joan of Old Saybrook, Conn., and Richard and his wife Judy of Fort Meyers, Fla.; her grandsons Daniel, David and John Koloski; great-grandchildren Maiya, Chloe and Bradley Koloski; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband she was predeceased by all her siblings, and was the youngest of 12.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Hadley. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Drozdal Funeral Home, Northampton. Burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
