Phyllis Faivre(1923-2013)


Phyllis A. (Wildman) Faivre, 90, formerly of Easthampton, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at the Genesis Care and Rehabilitation in Westfield.
She was born in Holyoke Jan. 10, 1923, the daughter of the late William and Hazel (McKenzie) Wildman.
She was educated in the South Hadley Schools and attended the South Hadley High School. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Easthampton and a former member of the Ladies Aid Society at the church.
Phyllis loved to do puzzles and enjoyed crocheting doilies to donate to the church Christmas bazaar. Her beloved husband Charles E. Faivre passed away in 1996. She leaves her loving sons Charles D. Faivre of West Springfield and Marcel K. Faivre of Amherst, her 3 adored grandchildren, Louis D. , Michael, Joshua Faivre, and her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and burial will be private. The O'Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
