TUSCON, Ariz. - Virginia "Betty" (Coyle) Romano Stagner passed away Sep.30, 2012, in Tucson, Ariz., where she had lived for many years with her second husband Clyde "Dutch" Stagner.
Betty grew up in Southampton, graduated from Easthampton High School and attended Tufts University in Boston.
In addition to "Dutch", she leaves her daughter Elizabeth "Bonnie" Romano in Kentucky; her daughter Cindy Stevens and husband David in Alabama; her son Ralph "Scott" Romano and wife Shari in Texas; daughter Virginia "Ginny" Huston in Kentucky; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and her beloved stepfamily. In addition she also leaves her brother, George Coyle of Connecticut and sisters, Edith Colby of California and Janice Emerson of Massachusetts.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph Romano; son Michael; daughter Carolyn; grandson Alex; and parents Elizabeth and George Coyle.
A memorial service was held in Tucson, Ariz., in October.
