UNION, Conn. - Charleene Gauthier-Provost of Union, Conn. was called to rest on Oct. 28, 2012.

Charleene was born Jan. 19, 1951, in Northampton, Mass.
Charleene graduated from Northampton High school, Northampton.
She worked at the former Northampton State Hospital. She earned her LPN degree and later an RN license from Greenfield Community College. She was a loyal employee of Natchaug Hospital in Mansfield Center.
She enjoyed camping and making many family trips to Salisbury. She was an avid quilter. She loved her dogs but none more than Skinner.
She is survived by her husband, Neil Provost Sr.; her daughters, Tracy Cayo-Johnson of Belchertown and Laurel Gauthier of Holyoke and Neil Jr., Nicole and Nick Provost of Union; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and her sister Chris Barry of Easthampton.
Calling hours will be held Friday Nov. 2, 6 to 8 p.m at the Pease and Gay Funeral Home, 425 Prospect St., Northampton. The funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. The entire family wants to thank the nurses and doctors of St. Francis Hospital for making her journey comfortable.
