FLORENCE - Dolores J. "Dodee" (Morceau) Houle, 76, of 491 Bridge Road, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born Feb. 14, 1936, in Easthampton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Doris (Bergeron) Morceau.
She was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Smith Vocational High School.
Dodee lived in Hatfield for many years before moving to Florence 10 years ago.
She worked for many years with her husband, Ted, at Fred's Exxon. Dodee later worked at Northampton Party World for over 14 years.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Parish in Hatfield. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, playing poker, crocheting and spending time with her family.
Her husband Raymond "Ted" Houle passed away in 2000.
She is survived by her four sons, Brian Balise of Holyoke, Kevin Balise of South Hadley, Steve Houle of Rockford, Ill., and Jeff Houle of Belchertown; her five daughters, Terri Houle of Greenfield, Sherri Waslick of Hatfield, Lori Smith of Hershey, Penn., Karin LaBarge of Hatfield and Kristi Balise of Pittsburg.; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Calling Hours for Dodee will be Friday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Ahearn Funeral Home, 783 Bridge Road, Northampton. Burial will be in the spring.
