EASTHAMPTON - Dustin P. Olander, 42, died peacefully in his sleep Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Dustin was born Jan. 20, 1971, in Greenfield, the son of the late David W. Olander and Sandra (Drillon) Olander.
He graduated from Northampton High School in 1989 in Northampton.
Dustin loved life and will be remembered for his laughter, smile, happy-go-lucky personality and his gifted ability to live in the moment.
Dustin's great passions were poker, cooking, sports and he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Dustin was currently working at Riff's Joint in Easthampton.
Dustin is survived by his son, Tyler Baker of Northampton and Tyler's mother Amy Baker of Hatfield; his sister, Katie Mears and her husband Kevin of Charleston, S.C.; his girlfriend, Christine Sullivan and her daughter Malia of Easthampton; his aunts, Rae Olander and Melissa Perry of Northampton, Gail Olander of Aurora, Colo., Sherri Belden of Amherst; his grandmother Rose, "Bunny" Balise of South Hadley; several cousins; and a host of close friends.
Relatives and friends may call at the Ahearn Funeral Home Sunday, March 24, from 2 to 4 p.m. with a funeral service starting at 4 p.m. A private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
