SHUTESBURY - Eleanor Sarah (Bryant) Mosher died peacefully March 13, 2013, with her husband Hal at her side.
Eleanor, known as Ele to her friends and family, was born Oct. 16, 1923, in Clinton, to Howard and Minnie Bryant.

She attended Clinton schools and graduated from Massachusetts State College (UMass) in 1945.

After teaching in Wilmington, Vt., she married the love of her life Harold E. Mosher in 1946 and began a 66 year adventure with him. During that time they raised three children and traveled the world camping, hiking and marveling at all there was to see and do.

Ele was a member and served in many capacities of both the University Women and the Amherst Woman's Clubs.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold E. Mosher of Shutesbury; son David and wife Susie Mosher of Shutesbury; daughter Peggy and husband Peter Schauer of Loudon, N.H.; son Stephen and wife Jane of Bow, N.H.; grandsons Jesse and wife Audrey of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Nate of Shelburne Falls: granddaughter Juliana and husband Joshua Brien of Loudon, N.H.; and great-grandsons Caden and Dylan Brien.

There will be an open house at the Amherst Woman's Club at 35 Triangle St., Amherst, MA on April 27, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. to celebrate Ele's life.
