FLORENCE – Julianne LaBarge, 88, of Lilly Street, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Calvin Coolidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Dec. 4, 1924, in Northampton, Julianne was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Julia F. (Courtney) Suprenant.

She was a graduate of Northampton High School and a life long resident of this city.

Julianne was the widow of Harvey LaBarge, who predeceased her in 1992. Julianne was also predeceased by a sister, Christine Steidler.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynette Walsh of Sunderland; her son, George LaBarge of Chicopee; two sisters, Esther Connell of Clearwater Beach, Fla. and Rita Cashman of Florence; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Calling hours for Julianne will be held Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Pease and Gay Funeral Home, 425 Prospect St., Northampton, followed by a procession to Annunciation Chapel of Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish where a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA and Hospice of Cooley Dickinson Hospital, 168 Industrial Dr., Northampton, MA 01060.
