SOUTH DEERFIELD – Liguz, Margaret B. "Peggy", 85, of 9 Conway St., South Deerfield, died Thursday morning at home after a brief illness.

She was born July 11, 1927, in Amherst, the daughter of Burt and Mary Elizabeth (Canfield) Lovett.
Margaret was educated in Amherst schools and was employed by the V.A.Hospital in Leeds for more than 10 years.
Margaret is preceded by her husband of 34 years, Theodore. They spent most of their married life in South Deerfield.
Margaret was known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Gramma Bo Bo. Not a day went by that one of her grandchildren did not stop by to say hello or help in some way. She always felt blessed to have so many that cared about her. She loved visiting her son Norman and her best friend Sophie Kahle who lives in Florida. Deerfield was home to her and that's where her heart was. She leaves many friends behind, including the two special girls who live next door, Emma and Grace, who called her Peggy.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Lashway and his wife Mary Jo of Vermont, Norman Ryan Lashway and his wife Warti of Daytona Beach, Fla., her daughters, Sharyn Paciorek and her husband John of Deerfield, Jean Kolodziej and her husband Chet of Sunderland and Nanci Lashway and her husband Gary Peters of Deerfield. Beside her children, she leaves behind a sister Mary Degg of Michigan and a brother William of Amherst; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret is predeceased by four brothers, Ralph, Larry, Howard and Sheldon Lovett and five sisters, Dorothy Wilkie, Betty Pappel, Claire, Katherine and Lorraine.
Calling hours at the Wrisley Funeral Home will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services are Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Philippe Roux, Pastor. Burial will follow in Mill River Cemetery, Deerfield.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital or Lukas Gaines Lashway Foundation in care of Richard A. Lashway, Coolidge Highway, Gilford, VT.
