SHUTESBURY - Maxim Sergei Wakoluk, 29, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.

Born Sept. 11, 1984, he leaves behind his grieving family; parents Donald and Narda Wakoluk, sister Virginia Lee Wakoluk, and niece Kiana Swanson.

A graduate of Amherst Regional High in 2002, his creative nature was expressed first and foremost in his passion for music. Often he could be found singing and playing his guitar in the quiet places of Amherst.

Musician, writer, street philosopher, and friend of many, his open heart and compassionate soul will be missed by all.

A memorial gathering to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, Oct. 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Sweetser Park, off Main Street in Amherst.
