NORTHAMPTON – Nancy Grace Hazen, 53, beloved sister and aunt, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at home.

She was born in Springfield to the late William B. Hazen and the late Beverly G. Bulkley.
She was a 1977 graduate of East Longmeadow High School and went on to earn her associate's degree in liberal arts from Bradford College, Haverhill.
Nancy was employed at North Print, West Springfield, for eight years. Most recently Nancy worked as an administrative assistant at Fazzi Associates of Northampton for eight years, where she was beloved by her co-workers and considered them family. She was an avid walker, skier, swimmer and gardener. She loved the beach and her dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather Charles W. Bulkley.
She leaves her two sisters, Martha A. Foster of Westbrook, Maine, and Jane Jakobek of Longmeadow; her two stepsisters, Debrah Kruskal of Sudbury, and Pamela Kappel of Westfield; her two stepbrothers, Charles S. Bulkley of South Carolina, and Stuart Clifford of Beverly; two nieces, Kate Early and Kelly Jakobek; and a nephew, William Foster.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, in First Church of Christ, 763 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow, immediately followed by a committal service in Longmeadow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101.
