CHESTERFIELD – Pauline (Kugler) Oborne, 92, formerly of Easthampton passed away on May 15, 2018, at Linda Manor Extended Care Facility.

She was born in Springfield and is the daughter of the late Paul and Bessie (Durborrow) Kugler. Pauline retired in 1987 as a staff nurse at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. She previously had worked as a registered nurse for the Easthampton School Department.

She was a 1943 graduate of Easthampton High School and a 1946 graduate of Mass General Hospital School of Nursing. She is a member of the Mass General Hospital Nurses Alumni Association, and had long-time affiliations with Saint Philip's Episcopal Church and Trinity Lutheran Church of Easthampton where she served in the alter guild, attended bible study and sang in the folk choir.

Pauline was married to the late Robert Oborne who died in 2007.

She leaves her sons Robert A. Oborne III and his wife Cynthia K. Burr of Worcester, Thomas A. Oborne and his wife Kammille of Chesterfield, her daughter Kristie A. Thompson of Easthampton, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband and her parents she is predeceased by her brother Charles Chocquette, her sister Gladys Baker and her step-brothers and step-sister, Arthur Kugler, Gustave Kugler, Herbert Kugler and Helen Goulding.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at the Boucher-O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant Street, Easthampton. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at Spring Grove Cemetery, Northampton.
