WESTFIELD - Richard K. Arnold, 82, of The Arbors and formerly of Easthampton, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Calvin Coolidge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northampton.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisc., he was the son of the late Eugene and Ellice (Bartlett) Arnold.
Richard is a retired U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.
He was the husband of the late Gloria (Lamere) Arnold who passed away in 2003.
He leaves his daughters, Elaine Behaylo and her husband Steve of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dawn LaValley and her husband Frank of Easthampton; a sister Marge Matkze of Hancock, Wisc.; his grandchildren, Shelly, Jonathan, Matthew and Kyle; great-granddaughters, Celestine, Giselle, Maya, Audrey, Ciana; and several nieces and nephews.
Private burial with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
