HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Robert Frennier, 86, of Hilton Head, died Feb. 26, 2013, in his home.

He was born Aug. 26, 1926, in Easthampton, the son of the late Raymond and Bertha Charron Frennier.
He attended Easthampton schools and graduated from Easthampton High School.
He was an avid ham radio operator and enjoyed politics in Easthampton, where he was elected to the planning board.
Bob was employed as a manager of apartments owned by the late Jim O'Brien.
He was a lifelong member of the former Notre Dame Church. He loved baseball and football. He was known for his humor, enjoyed people and was outgoing and made friends everywhere. Robert was connected to family and friends on the internet.
He had made his home in Hilton Head since 1979, where he will be missed by his many friends.
He is survived by two nieces, Donna Frennier of Easthampton and Cheryl Frennier of Southampton.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Richard Frennier.
Graveside services will be held in Brookside Cemetery, Easthampton, April 15, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the family lot.
