NORTHBRIDGE - Stephanie M. Spratt, 48, of Northbridge, and formerly Princeton and South Hadley, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014.

Stephanie worked in social services in her earlier career. Prior to her illness, she was in the process of attending Andover Newton Theological School, with the intention of becoming a hospital chaplain. For many years, she was also a much loved waitress at the Mountain Barn Restaurant in Princeton.

She was born in 1965 in Worcester, the daughter of Charles and Jerilyn Spratt of Northbridge. Stephanie was a graduate of Northbridge High School, and Anna Maria College in Paxton, from where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1993.

Stephanie enjoyed gardening, traveling to Provincetown and Maine, and loved being with her collies. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Carolyn; her husband Richard Lawrence of North Scituate, Rhode Island; her brother Michael and his wife Karen Spratt of Whitinsville; five nieces and a nephew, Alexandra, Meryl, Olivia, Rachel and Jacob; her partner Ellen Perrella of South Hadley; and her children Lillian and Daniel.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Buma Funeral Home, 101 North Main St. (Rt. 122), Uxbridge. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 2, at St. Patrick's Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville, at 10 a.m., followed by burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
