WILLIAMSBURG - Carole was a lifelong learner and philanthropist. Her wisdom and quiet nature, along with her appreciation of each moment in life, earned her a reputation as a trusted friend and beautiful soul.
She cherished her older sister, Muriel. They were inseparable friends, and cared deeply for each other.
Carole worked for the federal government for many years, which allowed her to travel the world, including Africa, Switzerland, and her favorite, the Rue de Passy, in Paris.
She enjoyed the finer things in life, including classical music, the smell of lavender, a good piece of dark chocolate, and a Scotti's hot dog.
Carole's spirit will live on in the many hearts that loved her, including her Nash Hill family (Eleanor, Joan, Heidi, Susan, Julia, Sandy and Cocoa) and her South Hadley family (Karen, Andy, Frances, Ruth, Michael, and Jacob).
Carole received exceptional care from Dr. Adam Garretson, Angela Boyle NP, Claire Allen, Laurie Corza, Deb Hollingsworth, Baystate Medical Breast Center, Linda Manor, and countless others.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The Ahearn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
We will all dearly miss her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:
Deborah Hospital Foundation, 20 Pine Mill Road, Browns Mills, New Jersey 08015.
