EASTHAMPTON - Richard H. Fydenkevez, 49, of Church Street, passed away at his home on Thursday, Feb 6, 2014.
He was born in Northampton, the son of Joan (Kowalczyk) Fydenkevez of Easthampton and the late Henry Fydenkevez.
Rich was a truck driver for 27 years for Coca Cola in Greenfield.
He graduated in 1983 from Easthampton High School and was a member of the Easthampton Rod and Gun Club, the Pascommuck Club and a share holder with the Pulaski Club in Easthampton.
Rich enjoyed family gatherings and was an avid boater.
Besides his mother Joan Fydenkevez, he leaves his brother Donald Fydenkevez of Easthampton, his sister Pamela Fydenkevez and her husband Fred Baker of Southampton, a niece Dana and nephews Ian, Ryan and Patrick Baker.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Boucher-O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant St., Easthampton followed with burial in the St. Brigids Cemetery.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donation in his memory may be made to Pascommuck Club Scholarship Fund, 44 Union St., Easthampton, MA 01027.
