GREENFIELD - Priscilla (VanWagner) Micka, 82, of Greenfield, died Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility.

Born July 9, 1932, in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy (Chamberlin) Van Wagner. She was a graduate of Greenfield High School.
Priscilla married Edward S. Micka April 11, 1953, in the Trinity Lutheran Church of West Hatfield. She was an active member and volunteer of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, was a volunteer at Baystate Franklin Medical Center's Gift Shop, the Greenfield Visitors' Center and an election volunteer. She was a member of the Harvest Club, enjoying gardening and canning. Many people in the area will remember her from her years of working at Hatch's Patch. She loved dogs and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Survivors include two sons, Edward, Jr., and wife Sandra of Windsor, Vermont, and David and wife Betty of Belchertown; her daughter Linda Micka and her husband Mike Mellon of Greenfield; grandchildren Kim Micka, Doug (and Cherise) Micka, Craig Micka, Hilary (and Niles) Kelly, Heather (and Cory) Delouche, Nate Jarvis, Daniel (and Megan) DeWitt, Eric DeWitt, Ann Micka and David ("Digger" and Vanessa) Micka; and great-grandchilren Kyle and Jaila Micka.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Nov. 15, 2008, and her son Gary in 1984.
A memorial service for Priscilla will be held Sunday, July 20, at 3 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Galbraith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 23 Long Avenue, Greenfield, MA 01301; Hospice of Franklin County, 321 Conway St., Ste. 2, Greenfield, MA 01301, or to the Cancer Connection, 41 Locust St., Northampton, MA 01060.
