Albert Stewart, age 60, of Millwood, KY, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his home.
He was born on April 15, 1953 in Sunfish, KY, the son of the late Wilbur Ray and Ruby White Stewart.
Albert joined the Sunny Point General Baptist Church in February of 1967.
He was an automobile body repairman, motorcycle repairman and worked the IC Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Mudd Stewart; his daughter, Krissy Logsdon (Chad) of Snap, KY; his grandson, Hunter Logsdon; five sisters, Betty Jean McKinney of Leitchfield, Evelyn Stewart of Bowling Green, KY, Lucille Ray of Caneyville, KY, Frances Meredith of Bee Spring, KY and Hazel Farris of Brownsville, KY; three brothers, Harvey Stewart of Sunny Point, Paul and Eddie Stewart, both of Leitchfield.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Charles Ray, Harold Glenn, Donnie and Gloria Stewart, Mary Meredith and Noretta Kiper.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Cecil Williams officiated. Burial was in the Vol Layman Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services.
