VARNEY, W.Va. — Wilson Cisco Jr. 74, of Varney, passed away Tues., Oct. 29, 2013, at his home.
Born Dec. 21, 1938, at Salem, Va., he was a son of the late Wilson Sr. and Marie Dotson Cisco. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Retta Jean Price.
Wilson was a veteran of the US Air Force where he was a member of the Honor Guard. He attended the First Baptist Church of Varney. Wilson owned several companies including Cisco Trucking, Paving and Construction. He spent his retired years helping many people throughout the county. The smile on his face was evident that he loved doing for others.
Those left behind to cherish his memories include his beloved wife, Carol Justice Cisco; sons, Greg (Lora) Cisco and Michael Cisco, both of Varney, and one grandson, Dalton Cisco.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Fri., Nov. 1, at Chafin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Snodgrass officiating. Burial will follow in the Cisco Family Cemetery at Varney.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Everette Hannah, Mike Carter, Trellis Cisco, Jack Spence, Edgar Mahon, Steven Mahon, Aaron Brown, Teddy May and Lonnie Hannah.
