Obituaries from the Past Three Days

Petersen, Mike
Mike Petersen June 30, 1994 - July 30, 2014 Happy Birthday Mike. Today, he would have been 21 years old. In his 20 years with us, he lived another person's life many times over: his compassion for friends, enthusiasm for adventure, huge laugh and smile. What you saw was who he was. The cards we received last August with their promises of prayers and special stories of memories meant much. Our family has hurt and shed so many tears. But we are not alone as way too many others have lost children also. Never has our faith in the Lord meant so much, knowing that our son had a relationship with Jesus Christ and is now with God, his true Father. We will see Mike again, but oh, the ache in our hearts is huge with the loss of his presence here.
