Franklin Scavarda
April 10, 1920 - February 9, 2014

Annie moved to Fruita, CO in 1968, were she owned and operated the Diner Cafe in Fruita. Some of Annies favorite hobbies was being an honorary women of the moose, bowling, loved to travel around the world, and going to the beauty shop. Annie enjoyed family gatherings, bowling, camping, sitting around the campfire listening to the family sing, and she never missed a good water fight.
Annies family includes husbands, Virgil D. Franklin (deceased); Mike P. Scavarda (deceased); sons, Frank D. Franklin of Cedaredge, CO; Lue C. Franklin of Grand Junction, CO; daughters, Virgie M. Goad of Rifle, CO; Luella F. Cross of Grand Junction, CO; Lorene F. Tourney of Grand Junction, CO; Sharon L. Lucero of Fruita, CO, and Gladys G. Johnson (deceased). Sisters of Annie are Mary Smith of Phoenix, AZ, and Virginia Mott of LaJara, CO. Deceased sisters are as follows, Minnie McMillian and Patricia Syviar. Deceased brothers are as follows, Willie Malouff, John Malouff, Frank Malouff, Neff Malouff, and Nimon Malouff. She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing and personal rosary, February 13, 2014, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., prayer and service immediately following at 2:00 p.m. by Father Mike at Callahan-Edfast Morturary. There will be a short closing of the grave on February 14, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens.
