Hannah Mary Hardin
February 12, 1991 - March 15, 2014
Our beautiful daughter, Hannah Mary Hardin, passed away on March 15, 2014, at her home; she was 23. She was born to William and Diana Hardin on February 12, 1991.
Hannah's life began in Palisade, Colorado. She went on to attend the local schools including Taylor and Palisade High. It was during this time that Hannah would develop long lasting friendships with those in her class. Throughout her early years, it was apparent that Hannah was a tremendous athlete. She loved to play soccer and basketball with those that she grew up with. Even outside of the field/court, she loved to be outside kicking the ball around. She was an avid sports fan. Hannah went on to graduate from R-5 High School and attended Colorado Mesa University, where she studied Psychology.
Hannah had a beautiful smile that would light up any room that she walked in. She cared so deeply for her family and friends. She always wanted the best for everyone. Hannah truly valued the time that she spent with her family, especially the time that she spent with her nieces, nephews, and daughter. She was a huge advocate for those who were treated unfairly, and would always be a shoulder to cry on for anyone that needed her. She loved spending time outdoors, camping, swimming, fishing, biking or simply taking the kids down to the park to shoot some hoops. She enjoyed playing pool. She was passionate about music and loved a variety of bands, singers, and rappers. As a family, we were known to have a variety of jam sessions that I'm sure our neighbors loved.
We will always love you and hold you close to our hearts Hannah! We will miss you greatly!
Hannah is survived by her mother, Diana Hardin (Pat Hayes); her father, William Hardin (Dorothy Horn); her brothers, Tekoa Shalom and Trevor Hardin (Shuree); her sisters, Krystinna Hardin (Jason), Hallie Hardin (Ronnie), and Makayla Hardin. Her special uncle and aunt, John Hardin and Carol Distefano; grandparents, George and Nancy Distefano and Patricia Wyman; her nieces and nephew, Harmony, Hope and Riley Hardin and Autumn Pope, and her beautiful daughter, Emilia Rose Hernandez.
