Milo Severson

Milo Severson February 28, 1943 – October 20, 2012 Milo Severson, age 69, died of a heart attack October 20, 2012, in Park Country, Colorado where he was enjoying time with his dearest friends and family. A memorial service will be held October 26th, at Callahan-Edfast at 11:00 a.m., followed by Military Honors at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado at 1:00 p.m. Open house to follow. Milo graduated from Fertile High School, Fertile, Minnesota where he played football. He enlisted in the US Air Force proudly serving four years as a Communications Technician, after an honorable discharge he followed his dream and moved to Colorado working at Public Service 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Millie Severson; children, Jeffery Smith; Timothy (Karen); Eric (Nicole), and Kevin Severson; grandchildren, Kendra, Tylar, Braydon and Chace; siblings, Donald (Barbara), and Russell (Peg) Severson, and Randi Campise, and numerous nieces and nephews. Milo had a strong but gentle demeanor. Whether he was cooking dinner for his family, or playing with grandchildren, Milo always had rosy cheeks, a cheery grin and big blue eyes. He was happiest cooking, hunting, fishing and camping with his loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Florence Severson, and niece, Shawn Severson. Milo will be greatly missed, but his family is built around memories that he created and will never be forgotten!
