Robert Joseph Tedesco December 20, 1937 – May 11, 2013 Robert was 75 years old when he entered into rest at Family Health West in Fruita, CO. Robert "Bob" was born in Hackensack N.J. to parents Josephine Judith Patty and Joseph Carmello Tedesco Jr. Bob joined the air force in 1955 at age 18 and served during the Korean War
. He later went on to become a real estate appraiser and operated a successful appraisal school where he shared his wealth of knowledge and trained others to become appraisers too. During this time, he met the love of his life, Deborah Ann (Forman) (Ippolito) Tedesco. They married on June 12, 1983 in Pine Beach, N.J. Bob and Debby were extraordinarily happily married for 30 years. Bob is survived by his wife who now lives in Grand Junction, Colorado. In 1985 Bob and Debby moved to Summit County, Colorado where Bob spent time as an outfitter and hunting guide. His days were filled with horseback riding and ranching. He also enjoyed the abundant skiing in the area. Bob and Debby opened restaurants in Dillon and Grand Lake and thus began a new chapter in their lives. Bob's new found livelihood as a restaurateur led him to branch out to Florida where he eventually moved and opened other restaurants. Bob spent the next 20 years of his life in the Florida Keys working as a restaurateur and manager, enjoying golf, deep sea fishing, and spending time with his adoring wife, Debby. Throughout his lifetime Bob was also a wonderful, loving father and is survived by six children, Robert Tedesco Jr.; Kim O'Connor; Diane Holt; Tiffany deGrandmaison; Tony Ippolito, and John Ippolito, along with 14 grandchildren. Bob will have cremation services performed by Callahan-Edfast Mortuary and a memorial service at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado at 3:00 p.m. on May 24, 2013. Bob will be deeply missed by all those who loved him and his loving memory will carry on for years to follow. May he finally rest in peace.
