Delmer my corazon, I miss you everyday,I'M LOST WITHOUT YOU!I CHARISH ALL THE GOOD MEMORIES WE BUILT TOGETHER THEY ARE FORVER EMBEDDED IN MY HEART.I ESPECIALLY REMEMBER YOU AT 3:33..WHICH MEANS TO US THAT ANGELS ARE AMONGST US, WE SET OUR CELL PHONES FOR THIS TIME EVERYDAY, AND THAT ALSO MENT (I LOVE YOU)..EVERY DAY, WITHIN ME I HEAR YOU SAY.."I LOVE YOU" (FROM HEAVEN,)"I LOVE YOU TOO MY HONEY." I say this prayer to God.."I take my loved one by the hand and lead him to you, God of love here is MY HUSBAND, Delmer Cordova, accept my love and thanksgiving,as I entrust him into your loving care. I want Delmer to be free, to be at home with you,I ask that you save a place for me there beside him, and that you be my loving presence in all the lonely moments that await me, I ask that you fill me with motivation and energy in the days ahead when I feel like giving up. remind me often of my true home land when I am caught up in the desolation of the journey..Help me to find joy in the people, events, and the beauty of nature which surround me, thank you for the gift of Delmer Cordova in my life, I want to believe that we will celebrate the treasure of our love again, when we are both in your presence forever, may this truth sustain me in the days to come, take my sad and aching heart and comfort me, for I can only feel hollowness and emptyness. Daddy...I have been dreaming about you alot and i miss you so much. The other day I swear you sent me a text message in the middle of the night...only to wake up and find that it wasn't. I wish i could touch you and give you a kiss. I know one day we will be together again, but it's so hard to not have you be her now. I miss your phone calls and your text messages that you worked so hard on conquering. I saved a video of you on my phone that you sent me...and i think ive watched it a thousand times.... just to hear your voice and see you smile at me. I am happy that you are not in pain anymore and i know in heaven you have the coolest gadgets around....i can't wait for you to show them off to me when i get there. Untill then.....i will continue to see you in my dreams.

To the Cordova Family:
Our Thoughts and prayers go out to family. Delmer was a great Police Officer for the City of Grand Junction, this is how I got to know him, I worked for the MCSO. As years pasted I got to see Del and Rose at the the VA Medical Center. It was also great seeing him and Rose.
Del you will be greatly missed.

To My Papa,
The memories me and you shared, I will Never forget. I Loved helping you sort out your pills and cleaning your wounds, or even going with you to the store just me and you. I also Loved hearing you tell me the stories of your parents and grand-parents when you and I would sit outside and share coffee. I also remember how when we came up for the summers you always wanted to take us to chuckie cheese even when I was 15 And the kids were 13. Man I will miss having you here to greet us when we came over. Everytime when we would have to leave to go back to Colorado Springs I remember I Would cry the whole trip home because I didnt want to leave, But this time I will not have to cry, Because this time you get to come home with me. Im Soo Lucky Because now I Have Heaven's Most Handsome Guardian Angel.

My sincere condolences to the Cordova family. Delmer was such a nice person, so loing and close with his family. He was so proud of all of you, God bless and comfort you in this time of grief.

We will always remember Delmer. He was valiant in service to his God,his family, his country, his community,and during his long disability. He was gracious when we were fortunate to see him and Rosabelle. Delmer & Rosabelle introduced us to Crucillo and offered Palanka for us.
We are currently out of town and will miss his celebration of life but he will be in our prayers and we will light a candle for him.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
