I made it back to Florida late Tuesday. As I look back on the time spent in Colorado, I thank all of Donna's family for making me feel a part of such a special life. Both services were a great tribute to her special beauty and the great sense of humor she has.I really miss my talks with Donna. All of those that came in contact with her will feel a big void forever.

I just heard about your loss today, and just wanted to let you know how much Donna meant to me when I was growing up. She was always so nice... I especially remember one night spending the night over at your house and having a loose tooth... She helped take it out very gently, and I've always remembered her for it. She was an incredible human being.

Dear Doug, Laura Lee, and Coady;
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I want you to know that Donna was a huge inspiration to me.
I simply feel so blessed to have had her in my life as a co-worker, Special Needs teacher for my son, mentor and friend that I could call on, which I did quite often as I recall. : ) I know we all delighted in watching our children grow. Donna not only shared valuable knowledge but also shared her experiences as a Mom. She had such vitality, creativity, a quick wit and her laughter was contagious!

I pray for you her family and for the wonderful, care-giving, and loving friends with whom she was visited by or talked with on a regular basis.

Doug, Laura Lee and Coady; May you always remember the loving kindness Donna/Your Mom brought to the world and the memories of her love that she will bring to you.

I am trusting in God above to watch over and hold you close in this time of grief and in your healing process. My heart is with you, Dear Family!!

Doug - I worked with Donna for many years. She touched the lives of children and families with amazing intuition and intelligence. She had an angel's soul that blessed everyone who was forunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on through the lives she changed.

Doug
I am truly sorry for your loss. Although it has been quite a few years since I last saw either one of you, Donna's positive attitude and constant smile are still fresh in my mind. I was always amazed at her ability to stay on top of any problem that came her way - what a tremendous loss for you, your family and the rest of us who need a person like Donna to give us a proper perspective on life.

Doug, many years back, I taught pre-school at Hilltop with Donna and attended her wedding when you were married. She was a wonderful friend and teacher and I learned so much from and with her. I can still see her laughing and loving the kids. Please know that Richard and I are thinking of you and your family with a tearful heart for her loss. Cheri Livingston

What a woman Donna was. Her grace and enthusiasm touched my life as a dear friend and colleague of my mother's. After my mom died, Donna was instrumental in seeing me re-enter the workforce when I didn't think I could. As luck would have it, later in my life, she taught my husband when he was a early education major. He was so fortunate to be Donna's student teacher at Tope Preschool. Her professionalism, consistency, genius and pure passion for her students stays with us to this day. We just loved who she was. Donna loved and did with her whole heart. Her inspriation will always be incredibly special in my family's life.

We wish for peace to you Doug, Coady and Laura. She is gone too soon but has given more than most.
