Denis Y. Boitier passed away June 10, 2014, at the Hospice Care Center, Grand Junction, CO, with his loving family by his side. He was 65.
Denis Boitier was born on February 26, 1949, in Orleans, France from the union of Lucien and Germaine Boitier. He spent his childhood in France until 1963, when he moved to the United States and attended Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, TX.
He met Peggy Byrum and they married in Dallas, TX on June 5, 1971, she survives. The family lived in Dallas until 1981, when they moved to Silverton, CO and then later to Grand Junction CO, in 1995.
Denis was an internet webmaster, owning his own business for many years. His greatest love in the last ten years was working on the computer, his "Big Girl" Honda Gold Wing, and spending time with his family.
Denis leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Peggy Boitier and a daughter and her husband, Lisa and Jason Blackmore; granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Megen Blackmore; sister-in-law and her husband, Patsy and Gary Noah, and sister-in-law, Billie Byrum, all of Grand Junction, CO, and a huge family in Texas.
