Phillip "Bud" L. Morgan, Sr. December 8, 1932 – May 10, 2013 Bud passed from this life on May 10, 2013, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Bud was born in Melstone, MT to Raymond and Linnie (Holmburg) Morgan. The family relocated to Roundup, MT where Bud attended school. He joined the Air Force, serving in the Korean War. Bud met his wife, Marlene Joan Hagel, in Billings, MT. Seven days later they married in September, 1957. They remained dedicated to each other for 56 years. After the military, Bud got to see the world from behind the wheel of a Big Rig he drove for several different trucking companies; logging over a million accident free miles before retiring from consolidated freight. In September, 2007 Bud and Marlene moved to Grand Junction, Colorado to be closer to family. Bud enjoyed Colorado fishing, camping, and summer nights at the Drag Races. He was a member of the Moose Lodge (Billings) and the VFW (Heights) where he enjoyed good times and many good friends. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ray and Doug, and his sister, Lois. He is survived by his wife, Marlene of Clifton, CO, and his children, Debra of St. George, UT; John (Bridget) of Grand Junction, CO; Eva of SLC, UT; Phillip Jr. (Sharon) of Billings, MT; his sister, Laura Lee of Billings, MT, and brother-in-law, Roger (Susan) of Billings, MT; as well as seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place at Martin Mortuary and a private inurnment will take place at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Cards may be sent to 608 Helena St. Clifton, CO 81520.
