John Richard Hage
November 2, 1954 - December 1, 2013

John Hage, 59, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, in Grand Junction, Colorado.
John worked as an accountant in Slayton, Minnesota, for Idarado Mine in Ouray, Colorado; Connor's Drilling in Montrose Colorado, Grand Junction Colorado and Denver, Colorado.
John married his high school sweetheart, Sheryl Slocum, in 1975, in Madelia, Minnesota. Together they raised Mark, Chad, and Matthew in Montrose and Fruita, Colorado.
He is survived by his sons, Mark, Chad (Danielle), and Matt Hage, all of Grand Junction, Colorado; his former wife, Sheryl Slocum Wilson, of Mountain View, California; his brothers, George of Arvada, Colorado, and Robert of Odessa, Texas; his sisters, Susan (Paul) Flecher of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, and Joan (Ed) Bernal of Grand Junction, Colorado, and grandsons, Landon, and Dawson.
John was a strong-willed Norwegian, whose life revolved around his friends and family. He participated in Boy Scouts and coached on his sons' soccer teams.
