Shane was born to Danny Charles Hill and Beverly Grace on September 5, 1980, in Santa Cruz, California. He spent his childhood in Santa Cruz, California. He received his GED on September 5, 2008.
Shane was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church. He accepted the Lord into his life on December 8, 2013.
Shane loved camping, dirt biking, fishing, disc golf, floating down the river and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Grand Valley Disc Golf Club.
A special anecdote for Shane is sometimes a Knight in shining armor turns out to be an oilfield hand wearing coveralls and steel toe boots, so when you start yelling about oilfield trash, just remember us when your pumping your gas. My hitch is over, it's time to go home, another one down, another gone.
Shane met and married Sharon Romero on February 12, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shane is survived by his wife, Sharon Hill; parents, Danny Charles Hill and Beverly Grace; sons, Jack and Jacob Redd; daughter, Abigail Rackliff, and sister, Alesha Derry.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Landmark Baptist Church in Grand Junction, Colorado.
