Michelle Black Obituary
August 17, 1983 - October 26, 2016
Born Michelle Lynn Galloway, August 17, 1983 at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she attended Frontier Elementary and Challenger Middle School in Colorado Springs. Michelle moved to Grand Junction, got her GED, and went on to get her Cosmetology license. She loved working with hair and was very good at it. She had a lot of customers and she often said, "I just like making people feel good when they get out of my chair."
Michelle is survived by two beautiful daughters, Hailey Black and Joslynn Molinar, both of Grand Junction; mother, Sandy Sievers and step-father, Mark Sievers, of Grand Junction; father, John Galloway Sr.; brother, John Galloway Jr. of Colorado Springs; grandparents, Hernando and Sara Munevar of Indianapolis, IN; grandfather, Lee Galloway of Enon, OH; step-brothers, Dusty Sievers, Stephen Sievers and family of Grand Junction, and several extended family members and friends.
Michelle liked camping and fishing on the Mesa, the Dallas Cowboys, ice cream, cats, Marilyn Monroe and shoe shopping.
Michelle was preceded in death by grandfather, Herbert Mentel; grandmother, Roberta Galloway; uncle, Guy Mentel and step-grandmother, Lucille Sievers.
A memorial is planned April 29, 2017, at Orchard Mesa Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. at the Cremation garden. Lunch to follow at A Taste of Heaven, 2817 North Ave. Please join us to celebrate her short life with us.
In lieu of flowers, give to the charity of your choice, in her name.

Michelle was a student of mine in beauty school .com she was an AWSOME stylist as well as an beautiful human being.sorry to hear her life was short lived.RIP my beautiful friend.
