Margaret I. Kidd Obituary
Margaret I. Kidd, 84, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She was born on Jan. 7, 1934, the daughter of Donald and Edna (Watson) Turner in Pontiac, Michigan. On Nov. 25, 1950, she was united in marriage to Charles Kidd in Davisburg, Michigan. They were married 63 wonderful years before he preceded her in death in 2014.
She has lived in Gladwin County since 1983, previously residing in Clarkston, Michigan. She was a hardworking, loving and caring homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Left to cherish her memory is her children: Vicki (Tim) Tucker of Falmouth, Charles (Kathy) Kidd of Clare, Leland (Deb) Kidd of Gladwin, Beth Hegel of Gladwin, Terri (Dan) Harris of Lapeer, Barbie (Keith) Taylor of North Carolina; daughter in-law: Dawn Kidd of Lake. Her children blessed her with 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Also she is survived by her siblings: Martha Alexander of Holly, Bill (Susie) Turner of Holly and A.J. (Lois) Turner of Gladwin, several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Ronald Kidd; granddaughter, Kelly Tucker; son-in-law, Steve Hegel; siblings, Donna Scott, Merlie Higgins, and Jim Turner.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation was held on Monday, September 10, and Tuesday, September 11 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made according to the Woodland Hospice House, 2597 S. Meridian Rd., Mt Pleasant, MI, 48858. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
