Clyde Andrew Talley

Clyde Andrew Talley was born on Sept. 24, 1924 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 5, 2014 due to medical complications. He was 89.

Clyde grew up in Des Arc, Missouri and joined the United States Navy in 1943. He served in the Navy from 1943 until 1945. He was stationed aboard the USS Yarnall during which time he served in World War II.

He lived in Corning, California from 1945 until 2014. Clyde married Berry Coffman on Dec. 19, 1959 and they lived in Corning until Betty died in 2005. Clyde was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Talley and Albert Talley; sister, Fern Barns; son, Michael Talley, Ernest Dyke, Gary Dyke, Robert Talley ; and daughter, Susanne Talley.

Clyde is survived by his children, Patrick Talley, Steve Dyke, and Lynne Chase; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Clyde enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.

Clyde attended the First Baptist Church in Corning since 2005.

There will be a graveside services at the Corning Cemetery on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a reception afterwards at the First Baptist Church in Corning.
