Maryann Kathleen Kiely of Live Oak passed away on June 11, 2014 in Marysville, California. She was born March 7, 1930 in San Francisco, Ca. and was raised in Oakland, Ca. After graduating from St. Elizabeth's High School, she soon married her high school sweet heart John (Jack) Kiely on May 27, 1950. Together they would raise three children. Maryann was very active with her children, they spent many years water skiing, boating and camping. Maryann was a talented crafts person. She enjoyed creating any project that involved a needle and thread. Including plastic canvas, cross stitch, doll making, needle point and miniature doll houses. Her craft could be seen at many local fairs where she won numerous awards for over 50 years. If she had any idle time she could be see working on crossword puzzle book, which she loved. She along with her husband Jack were also avid soccer fans. They traveled all over Northern California to catch their son or grandchildren playing or coaching a game. Maryann also loved spending time with her miniature dachshunds Minnie and Susie. She was a past member of the Catholic Ladies Relief Society, Colusa Women's Club, Fremont-Rideout Pink Ladies, she also taught catechism for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jack Kiely. She is survived by her son, Garry of Shingletown, daughter, Diane McClean (Greg) of Shingletown, son Dan Kiely (Toni) of Colusa. She is also survived by four granddaughters Amy Lou Mitchell, Jill McClure, Amber Kiely, Kelsie Kiely and five great grandchildren. She leaves behind many special friends including Judy Vasconcelles and family along with the Ladenburger Family, both families she considered her own. Their friendship would span over 80 years. Memorial services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Friday June 20, 2014.
