Robert passed away July 2, 2014 in Oakland, California. Prior to moving to Oakland, he was a long time resident of Orland and lived for a time in Chico. In Orland, he lived with his beloved aunt, Alta Simpson and was a familiar figure as he pedaled around town on his 3 wheel bike.

He was always up to an adventurous challenge engaging in activities most would be reluctant to try. Some of his daring escapades were: water skiing behind a boat (on his knees), bungee jumping, river rafting the rapids, a 70 mile bikathon, and riding his 3 wheel bicycle from Chico to Santa Cruz (about 200 miles). A few of his other accomplishments include, graduating from Orland High School (1957), college classes at Butte College in Chico and Laney College in Oakland, obtaining a driver's license, and attending art classes where he learned to paint and sold a number of his paintings.

Robert is survived by his two sisters, Lenore Drake of Roseburg, Oregon and Janice Mizrahi of Fort Lauderdale , Florida , his brother William Feise of Los Molinas, California, sister-in-law Nettie Feise of Los Molinas, California and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Feise and Hazel Simpson Gessel, his grandparents , his brother Glenn Feise of Reno, Nevada and his aunt Alta Simpson.

Robert will be remembered by his family and friends for his love of life and his achievements regardless of the barriers that life had placed before him.
Robert will be interred in the Masonic Cemetery in Orland on August 28, 2014 at 11 a.m., in the grave of his Aunt Alta whose love, nurturing and support provided the basis for the extraordinary person Robert became.
