Robert Buehler Obituary
Robert (an honorable veteran of the U.S. Army) was a loving family man, who enjoyed golf and shooting pool. After transferring to Texas in 1973 from Mason City, Iowa, he retired from Decker Armour Meats at the age of 55, and then worked for the Richardson Independent School District for 10 years. He then retired to spend more time with his loving grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew.
He is survived by his daughter, Janet Alber and husband, Steve; son, Greg Buehler and wife, Tanya; grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew Buehler; step-grandchildren, Brad and wife, Stephanie, Nanci and husband, Jay; sisters, Judy Rood, Karen Chensvold; brothers, Lyle and wife, Janet Buehler, John and wife, Susan Buehler; and numerous other extended family.
Preceded in death by wife (married Nov. 1, 1951) Joretta Jean Buehler, who passed Oct. 23, 2010; parents, Harvey and Ramona Buehler; brothers-in-law, Paul Rood and Lester Chensvold.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., today, Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Williams Funeral Home, Garland, Texas.

My dear Janet , Greg & families--so very sorry to read about your dad--U know we 4 had sooo many good X's together both in MC & Dallas--always had the greatest respect for Bob & truly loved him & Jennie even tho we lost track of each other after Gerald's death.I'm now living @ So. Padre, TX. Know that God has a special place for both of them. Fondly Pat Olson

So sorry to hear about your father. He was a good man and a good friend. We were very close in NSHS and also worked together at Deckers. We spent a lot of time together with both Bob and Jean. Our thoughts prayers are with you.
