To Barbara and all of Ralph's children,
Words seem so shallow at such a difficult time for all of you, yet the feelings and memories behind them are sincere. For so many years our going to the range was so looked forward to by our kids as they have grown. Spending time with your dad, with Bernie, Shack and so many other friends have left us a lifetime of memories. Matt, Cory and Amanda's first rounds of skeet were shot there, Betty learning to handle pistols and Ralph's being tickled at her choice of areas to shoot out of the targets(I'll leave that one to your imaginations), her first pistol bought there. The boys breaking in their deer rifles on the range, and so much more. We will miss him dearly, and we know many others will too, but not nearly as much as all of you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at such a difficult time. May God comfort your hearts at such a terrible time.

Ralph is the kind of friend that is difficult to find and impossible to replace. I regret that I wasn't able to spend more time with him over these last few years. I will miss the old gentle giant and our great talks and the stories he could tell !!!!!

Ralph Barnhardt Appreciation Day - 2009

September 17, 2009

It is with great sorrow to say good-bye to a friend. So many people love and appreciate Ralph so much that they had a special day for him this year called the Ralph Barnhardt Appreciation Day. Now he is really having an appreciation day in a place much greater than here and without any pain. May God grant you and your family the peace and strength that only He can give in times like this. Please know that we are praying for you all.
